• AWS welding certification

Students in the welding program are intruduced to welding safety, blueprint reading, and welding equipment identification and operation. They then learn industrial welding techniques including stick, tig, mig, and oxy fuel cutting. In the second year, they move on to carbon arc and plasma cutting. The class also includes American Welding Society code welding and the opportunity for industry-standard AWS welding certification.

Welding students participate in SkillsUSA and belong to the American Welding Society.
