WRAP Specialist

Workforce Resource Assistance Program (WRAP)

Mexico Public Schools has partnered with the Mexico Area Chamber of Commerce on the WRAP program.

Life doesn’t stop when the workday begins—and sometimes personal challenges can make it hard to get to work, stay at work, or do your best at work. That’s where the Workforce Resource Assistance Program (WRAP), through the Mexico Area Chamber of Commerce, comes in.

WRAP connects employees with a Workforce Specialist who can help find long-term solutions to everyday challenges. Whether it’s navigating state benefits, securing housing or transportation, managing finances, or addressing health and relationship concerns, WRAP provides confidential support and connects individuals to the resources they need.

What WRAP Can Help With:

  • Home Life: Housing, utilities, transportation, and state benefits
  • Work: Financial stability, education, communication, and conflict resolution
  • Relationships: Childcare, parenting, support for aging parents, and domestic violence resources
  • Health: Medical care, mental health, and substance abuse

Employees can reach out to a Workforce Specialist by email, phone, or during weekly office hours at their workplace. Conversations are confidential.

WRAP can even help in emergencies. Through partnerships with financial institutions, employees in good standing may qualify for affordable loans—even with little or no credit history. Repayment can be made through payroll deductions, and participants also gain access to financial literacy courses to build long-term stability.
