Meet Your Title Teachers
Peggy Klick, McMillan: I have been in education since 1997. I earned my BSE degree at Lincoln University. I taught 1st grade for 10 years, 2nd grade for one year, 3rd grade eight years, 4th grade three years, and fifth grade for two years. I am so excited to complete the circle as a Title reading teacher at McMillian working with Kindergarten. Opening the world up to children by teaching them to read has always been my favorite part of teaching. I like telling the students, “The more you read, the better you read. The better you read, the more you can read.” This was inspired by Dr. Seuss’s quote, “The more you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
Danielle Louder, Hawthorne: I started teaching in 2017 at Hawthorne Elementary. I have spent 3 years teaching third grade and 4 years teaching second grade. I received my Bachelor's degree from William Woods University and my Master's degree in reading from Northwest Missouri State University. I was born and raised here in Mexico, MO and I'm so excited for this new role as a Title 1 Reading Teacher. I'm eager to get started helping our teachers and kids so that we can all grow and reach our goals!
Cheyenne Parks, Eugene Field: I started in education in 2018. I began my teaching career teaching fourth grade for three years and later moved to third grade for two years. I have since been at Eugene Field as one of the Title I Reading teachers where I will be starting my eighth year in education. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri as well as a Master’s Degree in Specialized Reading K-12 from Lindenwood University. I believe in giving the tools to students to be successful readers, but also instilling a love of reading to become lifelong readers. I am looking forward to the opportunity to watch students grow and learn to become their best!
Alexandra Stuckenschneider, Hawthorne: I have been in education since 2010. I started my teaching career at Eugene Field, where I taught 1st grade for 6 years. I then moved to Hawthorne, where I continued to teach 1st grade for eight more years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri as well as a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, also from the University of Missouri. My husband Derek and I have two daughters, Lucy (5th grade) and Annie (2nd grade). I am excited to begin my sixteenth year of teaching and my second year as a Title One Reading teacher! I am excited to help students of all ages grow as readers!
Stephanie Wieberg, Eugene Field: I started teaching in 2013. I have taught 5th grade and the last 3 years I’ve taught 3rd grade at Hawthorne Elementary. I received my Bachelor's degree from Culver-Stockton College and I am currently working on the LETRS program that I will put towards a master's degree in reading. I was born and raised in Old Monroe, MO and moved to Mexico, MO in 2015. My family and I recently moved to Martinsburg, and we love the little farm town atmosphere. I'm so excited for this new role as a Title 1 Reading Teacher. I can’t wait to begin helping kids learn the tools they need to become better readers and watching them succeed.
