*GRANT APPLICATIONS DUE TO BUILDING PRINCIPALS ON SEPTEMBER 19, 2025*
Mini-grant applications through A+ for Mexico Education, Inc. are available through the at the links below.
The grant application deadline is Friday, September 26, 2025 by 12:00 p.m. We hope to have the grants approved by early November and money to you soon after that.
The information you include on the application form will provide the mini-grant committee with the data it needs to decide whether or not to fund your project. Applications are reviewed on a competitive basis by a committee composed of area residents. When completing your grant application please include information identifying your school on the cover page ONLY.
Projects reflecting school board priorities will be looked upon favorably as will projects involving collaboration with community groups and businesses. Projects, ideally, would pioneer new approaches to enhance the classroom curriculum.
The project funds must be spent within one year. Final reports are required. All money not used for the project must be returned to the grant fund at the conclusion of the project or one year from the date the monies were issued.
We have distributed more than $750,977 to Mexico teachers for use in your classrooms. The average size grant is about $867. You may also apply for funding for several different projects. In an effort to fund as many grants as possible, the A+ Committee is requesting that grant applications be for no more than $3,000.
Obviously, requests should not conflict with the respective school district responsibilities or purchase plans, such as Chromebooks or laptops. Proposals for equipment and/or field trips will only be considered if part of an integral component of a larger strategy. Outside consultants and experts will only be supported if they are necessary part of the overall objective of the project. If any personnel training is needed prior to administering your grant, A+ does not pay for college credit hours, seminars, or transportation costs. A+ does not pay for services to Mexico Public School or St. Brendan employees.
Additional information and assistance in completing an application is available. Please contact us if we can be of help or if you have difficulty accessing the application form on the website.
Please return the completed form to Central Office by the deadline. Do not mail applications to the post office box.
We appreciate your support of A+ for Mexico Education. Our goals of aiding you in your efforts to teach Mexico students will only be met with your support. Thank you!
