Line-up time for the parade is at 2:00 p.m. Enter through the circle drive at the High School. The parade begins at 3:00 p.m.
The parade route is as follows: from the MHS student parking lot, left on Curtis, right on Wade, left on Love, right on Washington, left on Promenade, left on Jefferson. The parade will disband north of Jefferson and Anderson Streets. All floats and trailers will return to MHS to unload students. No unloading of anyone should take place on Jefferson at the end of the parade.
For safety reasons, Public Safety requests that no candy/gum be thrown from floats. You may walk beside your float and hand out candy. The risk of small children running in front of a float is too great. Public Safety reserves the right to remove an entry from the parade for failure to observe this rule.
After the parade ends, you are responsible for tearing down your floats at a site other than MHS. Do not leave them or tear them down at MHS. Floats will not participate in a pre-game show.
