Mexico Public Schools online registration was open at the beginning of August. If you’ve missed registration, please contact your child’s building for assistance.

August 14: Mexico Middle School from 5:30 – 7:00 PM
August 19: McMillan PreK from 4:00 – 5:30 PM
August 19: McMillan Kindergarten from 5:00 – 6:30 PM
August 19: Mexico High from 4:30 – 6:30 PM
August 19: Eugene Field & Hawthorne Elementary Schools from 5:30 – 7:30 PM
August 20: Freshman Orientation at Mexico High School from 8:00 AM – Noon
STUDENT CLASS SCHEDULES & TEACHER ASSIGNMENTS
Elementary teacher assignments and middle/high school schedules will be shared with registered students sometime during the week of August 12. Parents/guardians will receive a notification from the school district when the information is available.
SCHOOL COMMUNICATIONS
Mexico Public Schools uses a variety of methods of communication to share school-related news, reminders, and important information with parents, guardians, and the community.
For parents/guardians with district students, it is important that you have a current email address and cell phone number in your Infinite Campus parent portal. Please check to make sure your contact information is up-to-date so you receive all school-related communication from the district, building principals, and your child’s teachers.
The primary method of communication the district and school buildings use is through ParentSquare. The district and school buildings will send emails and text messages to parents/guardians about important reminders, time-sensitive updates, and any other urgent matters. The district will only use automated phone calls for weather-related closing information and other urgent matters.
Other forms of communication the school district utilizes include the district’s website and newsletters.

TRANSPORTATION
Bus routes will be shared with parents from the transportation department when they are available. Registration closes on August 9, and bus routes will be compiled immediately following. Please watch your email for more information.
