MMS Locker Decor Day: Monday, August 12th

Stop by anytime between 10:30 am-1:30 pm  or  5:00-6:00 pm

Student Council Reps and Principals will be here to help. 

(We can provide you with your combination if you need it.)

How To Open a Combination Lock:

1. Turn clockwise (to the right) at least 3 times.
2. Stop on the 1st number.
3. Turn counterclockwise (to the left) going past the 2nd number once and stopping on the 2nd number when you get back to it.
4. Turn clockwise (to the right) and stop on the 3rd number.
5. OPEN! 

*We have some locker shelves from previous years that were donated. First come, first served.*

Maximum Stay: 45 minutes (to prevent overcrowding)

Designated Areas: Locker Decor Day is for lockers only. Walking your schedule or visiting classrooms can be done during Open House. Any student wandering the halls or misbehaving in any manner will be asked to call parents from the office and wait there to be picked up.

If there is an issue with your combination, please let a principal know.

If you need to switch top and bottom lockers due to height, please let a principal know. Only students who cannot see the combo numbers will be allowed to switch from a top locker to a bottom locker. Only students who are extremely tall will be allowed to switch from a bottom locker to a top locker.

MMS Fall Sports Practices

Practices begin Monday, August 19, 2024

Important: All athletes must have a physical with insurance information turned into the office in order to practice by Friday, August 16 at 3:30 PM.

Football - Head Coaches Dave Okenfuss and Andy Ekern 

Asst. Coaches: Robert Meador, Michael Pfeifer, Gilbert Hooker

Time: 8/19, 8/20, 8/21 & 8/22: 3:30 - 5:30 PM; 8/23 6:00 AM -7:30 AM 

Location: MMS practice football field (the track)

Drop off/pick up details: Drop off and pick up in the back parking lot.

Remember: Equipment distribution will begin at 3:00 pm before the first practice on 8/19

Parent Meeting: Tuesday, August 20 at 5:30 pm in the MMS Cafeteria, enter back door

Where: MMS new gym

Drop off/pick up details: In the back parking lot.

Softball - Coach Becca Bates

Time: 8/19-8/23 3:30 - 5:00 pm

Where: MHS softball field or baseball field 

Drop off/pick up details: Drop off at MHS fields, once school starts bus will transport from MMS to MHS/pick up in parking lot north of the softball field

Remember: bring softball equipment, water bottle, wear softball pants, plain gray T-shirt (no club ball logos), softball socks.

Drop off/pick up details: At Teal Lake Shelter

Remember: Bring water jug, use bathroom before practice, wear running clothes, bring special needs items (inhalers, etc.) If storm, check
