Student Health Fair at Mexico Middle

March 13, 2026 – MMS hosted a school health fair this week, providing students with access to physicals and preventive health screenings during the school day.
Throughout the day, students rotated through the gym by grade level to receive services in a supportive setting. In addition to physicals, routine school health screenings were conducted, including:
Vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure)
Vision screening (visual acuity)
Hearing screening
All services offered during the health fair were preventive in nature and do not replace care from a child’s primary healthcare provider. However, by bringing these services directly into the school setting, the screenings helped remove barriers such as transportation challenges and missed work for families.
Multiple community members joined Director of Health Services Kronesha Belcher, RN in bringing back the school Health Fair at the middle school, a shared commitment to the well-being of our Mexico Bulldogs!
