MHS, Presser partner for production of Frozen the Musical!

April 6, 2026 – In December 2026, Presser Arts Center and Mexico High School will join forces to produce a fully staged, collaborative community theatre production of Disney’s Frozen the Musical. We invite our entire community to be a part of it.
This production, directed by Sidney Groves, represents a meaningful partnership between Mexico High School and Presser Arts Center. As Emmons Hall undergoes renovation, this collaboration ensures that performance opportunities for our students remain strong while also expanding artistic involvement across the community. Together, we are creating something that benefits not only our students, but our region as a whole.
Participants will step into a truly pre-professional environment, working alongside experienced performers, musicians, designers, technicians, and volunteers. With more than 100 individuals typically involved in Presser productions, this is a unique opportunity for students and community members to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a Broadway-caliber experience.
This partnership is more than a single production; it is a shared investment in the arts. Students will grow as performers and collaborators, while community members will have the chance to mentor, support, and celebrate the creative talents within Mexico. Presser Arts Center serves thousands of patrons and participants each year, and through this collaboration, we are expanding access to high-quality arts experiences for all.
