Audrain retirees continue to impact county

June 5, 2026 – $14,207,514.29. A solid number, totaling how much public school retirees are bringing to Audrain County annually.
Many of these retirees are still part of our school as substitutes, volunteers, mentors, and Lunch Buddies. Their impact didn’t end when they left the classroom; they are shaping our county for generations.
Public education is one of the few systems where you can see the full circle: serving students, strengthening communities, and continuing that impact long after retirement.
Thank you to our public education retirees for choosing to live and serve in Audrain County!
