District Meal Charge Policy

The attached board policy is shared with all parents/guardians each year as a reminder.
Keep in mind that all students in grade 8 and younger receive free breakfast and lunch each day. Free meals do not include extra items such as second milk, etc. 
Some buildings have a la carte items available for sale. These items are not free even if the student is approved for free meals. A la carte items are not allowed to be charged, there will either need to be money on the account or cash in hand to purchase these items.

Any student that brings their lunch can purchase a milk for $.50 each. 

If you have high school students and you believe you may qualify for free/reduced meals, please apply. Applications can be printed from the food service tab on the district website, or picked up at any of the district buildings. Online applications are not available at this time.  
Any student that was free/reduced last school year will remain eligible for the first 30 days of the new school year to allow time for families to fill out a new application if they wish to do so. This temporary status will end October 3rd if an application has not ​been received.
